KELLY DAUGHERTY 

Kelly Daugherty is the Principal of Silver Creek High School. She served as Principal at James Lick, Associate Principal at Piedmont Hills and Santa Teresa, Interim Principal at Piedmont Hills, Subject Area Coordinator for Physical Education and Health, and as a Physical Education teacher at Independence. 

Kelly enjoys a wide range of escapades including tailgating, traveling, camping, and the company of her family and friends, especially her Maltipoo. 

The Principal oversees all aspects of the school. Ms. Daugherty is responsible for the performance and development of all staff and students, the creation and implementation of student activities that welcome ALL students, the overall safety and security of ALL staff and students, as well as establishing rich channels of communication with parents and the entire Silver Creek community.

Associate principal Of Education

Erica king

Erica King is the Associate Principal of Educational Development at Silver Creek High School, where she leads initiatives that strengthen teaching, learning, and expanded student opportunities. She supports equity-focused practices that improve academic, behavioral, and social-emotional outcomes. With more than a decade of experience as an educator and leader, Erica previously taught English and built a nationally recognized yearbook program, while also developing expanded learning courses that fostered student engagement, literacy, and creativity. She holds a Master’s in Emancipatory School Leadership from San José State University.

Associate principal Of Tiered students supports

Jose SOlis

José Solís is the Associate Principal of Tiered Student Supports of Silver Creek High School.  Mr. Solís has served as the ELD Subject Area Coordinator and Teacher on Special Assignment for English Learner instruction at ESUHSD.  He has also served as a classroom English, ELD, and Spanish teacher at a local charter school and Mt. Pleasant High School.  

Mr. Solís enjoys spending time with family and friends, live music, pro-wrestling, and riding cruiser bicycles at local events. 

As the Associate Principal, Mr. Solís oversees the tiered systems of support.  Under his responsibilities, he supports the Wellness Center and social workers, bilingual paraeducators, 504 case managers, MTSS cohort, CARE team, and English Learner instruction.
