Thanh has been part of the East Side Family as a student (AHHS graduate), teacher, parent, and administrator for the last 27 years. She believes in supporting all students and staff, meeting them where they are and helping them to achieve their personal goals and aspirations. Her door is always open, so come on right in!
Ms.Chavez earned her Bachelor's Degree in History and Latin America & Latino Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In addition, she earned her Master's Degree in Counselor Education with a Pupil Personnel Service Credential and Child Welfare and Attendance Specialization from San Jose State University. As a proud product of the East Side Union High School District (James Lick Graduate), she finds it important to give back to her community and serve as a role model/mentor for future generations of learners.
Mrs. Nguyen holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Loyola University in New Orleans and initially taught math and Vietnamese before earning a master’s degree in Counseling Education from San Jose State University.
Mrs. Chapman earned her bachelor's in English and teaching credential from San Jose State University, where she also completed her Masters in Education and Pupil Personnel Services Credential. Her passion for counseling developed through her experience teaching English and AVID. Excited to join the Silver Creek community, she is dedicated to helping students navigate their paths to adulthood and higher education.
Ms. Pham earned her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University. She found her passion for working with students through substitute teaching in the district and pursued her Master's Degree in Counselor Education with a Pupil Personnel Service Credential.
