Lyra Hua is the Associate Principal of Educational Development (APED). She was the Associate Principal of Administrative Services prior to this role. She has been a Subject Area Coordinator for Math, an Instructional Coach, an Induction Mentor, a WASC Coordinator, a Department Chair, and a math teacher for East Side since 2000.
Lyra is raising two teenage boys and one Frenchie with her husband. She loves to travel, is an avid reader, recharges during power walks or on her elliptical, volunteers as a lector and eucharistic minister, and enjoys foodie events.
The APED oversees curriculum development, interpretation of test data, and the evaluation of instructional programs.
